# The 4Wild Company

> Owner-run 4x4 rental in Dala-Järna, Dalarna (central Sweden). Fully equipped 4x4 vehicles with rooftop tent for self-drive overland trips through Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark – summer (April–October) and winter (November–March, Lapland and North Cape).

- Base / pick-up and return: Morn 9, 786 92 Dala-Järna, Sweden. Norway is 2–3 hours away.
- Vehicles: Ineos Grenadier (from €199/day, winter with studded Nordic tyres and parking heater), Land Rover Discovery (from €179/day, winter with Nordic tyres and parking heater), Jeep Cherokee XJ (from €149/day, summer only).
- Included: rooftop tent, sleeping bags, camping kitchen with gas, fridge, table and chairs, recovery gear, offline navigation with 20,000 km of tested gravel and forest tracks and hundreds of overnight spots, unlimited kilometres, comprehensive insurance, additional driver. Same price all year, no seasonal surcharges. Adventure Ready Fee €100 per rental.
- Security deposit (= maximum excess) €2,000, €1,000 with the VIP package (€29/day). Minimum age 21 (Grenadier, Discovery), 18 (Jeep). €300 down payment, balance 14 days before the trip.
- Allowed countries: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark; others on request. One-way rental on request (expensive, e.g. about €1,000 extra for Oslo).
- Getting here: ferry Kiel–Gothenburg plus 5–6 h drive; or fly to Stockholm Arlanda, train to Borlänge, bus 121 to Dala-Järna (pick-up at the bus stop; with VIP pick-up in Borlänge).
- Activities (husky, snowmobile, kayak, wildlife, special stays) are booked by the guest directly with our partners; The 4Wild Company rents the car and is not a tour operator.
