These General Terms and Conditions (\u201cTerms\u201d) govern the services provided by The 4 Wild Company, including vehicle rentals and webshop purchases. By booking a rental vehicle, purchasing products through our webshop or using our website, you agree to these Terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company operates in accordance with Swedish law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Scope of Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company provides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicle Rentals<\/strong>
Rental of overlanding and expedition vehicles including optional expedition and camping equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webshop Sales<\/strong>
Sale and delivery of products offered in our online store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

3. Eligibility for Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use our services customers must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Be at least 21 years old unless a higher minimum age is required for specific vehicles
\u2022 Hold a valid driver\u2019s license appropriate for the rented vehicle category
\u2022 Accept these Terms
\u2022 Comply with applicable laws and regulations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company reserves the right to refuse rentals without stating reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

4. Vehicle Rentals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. Booking and Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Booking Confirmation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reservations become binding upon receipt of payment or agreed booking deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rental Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rental prices include VAT and mandatory basic insurance unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional charges may apply including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Late return fees
\u2022 Missing equipment
\u2022 Damage costs
\u2022 Recovery costs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment Methods<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payments may be made using accepted cards, bank transfer and methods displayed on our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

B. Security Deposit and Insurance Excess<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A refundable security deposit of EUR 2000 or EUR 1000 if you booked the VIP Package<\/strong> must be provided before vehicle handover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deposit serves as collateral for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Damage
\u2022 Missing equipment
\u2022 Excessive cleaning
\u2022 Contract violations
\u2022 Additional costs arising from the rental<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The security deposit does not limit customer liability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renter\u2019s insurance excess amounts to EUR 2,000 or EUR 1000 (VIP) per claim event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If damages exceed the security deposit amount the renter remains liable up to the applicable excess and according to these Terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deposit will be returned after vehicle inspection and confirmation of proper return condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

C. Driver Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drivers must present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Valid identification
\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renter is responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Compliance with traffic regulations
\u2022 Monitoring vehicle condition
\u2022 Checking fluid levels when necessary
\u2022 Proper vehicle operation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renter shall immediately stop vehicle operation and notify The 4 Wild Company in case of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Warning lights
\u2022 Technical faults
\u2022 Abnormal noises
\u2022 Suspected damage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continued operation despite obvious defects may result in full liability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

D. Vehicle Return<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles must be returned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 On time
\u2022 In substantially the same condition as delivered
\u2022 With all supplied equipment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late return fees may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicle condition may be documented by photographs and\/or video during handover and return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

E. Normal Wear<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acceptable wear includes minor unavoidable signs of normal use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normal wear does not include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Deep scratches
\u2022 Paint damage
\u2022 Dents
\u2022 Broken components
\u2022 Windshield\/ Tire \/ Rim damage (includes in the VIP Package)
\u2022 Interior damage
\u2022 Burns
\u2022 Missing equipment
\u2022 Excessive contamination
\u2022 Preventable damage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

F. Expedition Equipment and Inventory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles may include expedition and camping equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exact equipment is documented separately in the handover protocol and inventory list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renter is responsible for returning all supplied items complete and functional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awnings and roof tents must be properly secured and fully retracted before moving the vehicle. Damage to awnings caused by wind or driving with deployed equipment is considered gross negligence and is not covered by insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missing, lost, stolen or damaged items will be charged at replacement cost based on current market value including procurement and transport costs where applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company may deduct such costs from the security deposit without limiting further claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

G. Breakdown, Recovery and Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Accident
\u2022 Breakdown
\u2022 Immobilisation
\u2022 Recovery requirement
\u2022 Technical issue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company must be contacted immediately and remains the primary contact point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renter may not independently arrange:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Repairs
\u2022 Towing
\u2022 Recovery services
\u2022 Third-party roadside assistance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

unless expressly authorised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recovery, towing, extraction, transport and assistance costs caused by customer actions, negligence or contractual violations shall be borne by the renter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

H. Permitted Countries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicle operation is permitted in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Sweden
\u2022 Norway
\u2022 Finland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel to other countries requires prior written approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unauthorised border crossings may affect insurance validity and result in renter liability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

I. GPS Tracking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking systems for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Theft prevention
\u2022 Vehicle recovery
\u2022 Fleet management
\u2022 Operational security<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal data processing follows GDPR requirements and our Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

J. Camping and Legal Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renter is solely responsible for complying with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Camping regulations
\u2022 Environmental laws
\u2022 Fire restrictions
\u2022 Access limitations
\u2022 Traffic laws<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company accepts no responsibility for fines or penalties caused by customer violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

K. Vehicle Cleaning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles shall be returned in reasonable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional cleaning fees may apply for excessive contamination including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Excessive mud
\u2022 Strong odours
\u2022 Smoke residue
\u2022 Food contamination
\u2022 Biological waste
\u2022 Excessive interior dirt
\u2022 Pet contamination<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

L. Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mandatory basic liability insurance is included unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optional insurance products may be offered separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insurance coverage may become void in case of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Gross negligence
\u2022 Contract violations
\u2022 Unauthorised vehicle use
\u2022 Unauthorised travel areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

M. Cancellations and Refunds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancellation by Customer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive date is the written cancellation receipt date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2265 90 days before rental start: booking deposit of EUR 150 retained<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

89\u201360 days: 20%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

59\u201330 days: 25%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

29\u201315 days: 50%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

14\u20137 days: 75%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Less than 7 days \/ No-show: 100%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Cancellation by The 4 Wild Company<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a confirmed booking cannot be fulfilled due to unforeseen events including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Mechanical failure
\u2022 Previous customer damage
\u2022 Theft
\u2022 Vehicle unavailability<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and no replacement can be provided:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customer receives a full refund of payments made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the extent permitted by applicable Swedish law The 4 Wild Company shall not be liable for indirect costs including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Flights
\u2022 Hotels
\u2022 Ferry tickets
\u2022 Activities
\u2022 Alternative transport<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers are strongly advised to maintain travel insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

5. Webshop Purchases<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. Orders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Products are presented as accurately as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minor deviations may occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orders become binding upon payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

B. Pricing and Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment is due immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

C. Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery times are estimates only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delays do not automatically entitle customers to compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers are responsible for correct delivery information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

D. Returns<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

EU customers may exercise statutory withdrawal rights within 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returned products must be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 In original packaging<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless legally required otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers remain liable for damage caused by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Negligence
\u2022 Contract violations
\u2022 Improper vehicle operation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company shall not be liable for delays caused by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Weather
\u2022 Road closures
\u2022 Traffic conditions
\u2022 Government actions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights under Swedish consumer protection law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Force Majeure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 Wild Company is not liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Natural disasters
\u2022 Extreme weather
\u2022 Strikes
\u2022 Government actions
\u2022 Mechanical failures
\u2022 Supply disruptions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

8. Complaints and Disputes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complaints may be submitted to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swedish law applies exclusively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disputes shall be resolved by Swedish courts or where applicable by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
