Built for slowing down, character, and the pure joy of driving. Our 28-year-old Jeep Cherokee XJ is a classic tailored for anyone seeking a true, mechanical off-road experience.
Powered by the legendary 4.0L petrol engine with over 410,000 km of experience on the clock, we have restored this vehicle from the ground up and fully prepared it for the wilderness. Still, it remains a genuine old-school 4×4 at heart: it drives rougher, more directly, and more honestly than any modern vehicle. Free of unnecessary electronic driver assists, it offers a completely unfiltered journey.
To blend this raw, analog driving experience with our expedition standards, we have integrated a few essential upgrades in the background: a modern offline navigation tablet, ultra-bright LED headlights, and a fully self-sufficient Victron power system with a custom slide-out kitchen in the back.
Perfect for “slow travel”, classic road trips, and anyone looking to explore the Swedish wilderness mindfully and without the rush.
About the tent
This vehicle is equipped with a massive soft-top roof tent that redefines spaciousness. Featuring a gigantic 1.85 x 2.40-meter sleeping area, it comfortably accommodates 4 to 5 people—making it the ultimate base camp for a full family adventure.
Thanks to 360-degree panoramic windows and two large skylights, the line between inside and outside simply disappears. You sleep fully protected from the elements, yet it feels like you are resting directly out in the open under the stars.
Since it is a classic soft-top design, it requires a bit of hands-on work: setting up and packing down takes about 10 minutes, fitting perfectly into the slow-travel mindset. In return, the tent rewards you with a massive advantage: you can leave all your blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags inside the tent when folding it away. This frees up a huge amount of crucial space inside the Jeep for the rest of your gear.
About the tires
Forget about quiet highway cruising. This Jeep rolls on massive 33-inch Mud-Terrain (MT) tires—and for good reason. These tires aren’t built for comfort or fuel economy; they are engineered to relentlessly chew through deep Swedish mud, crawl over wet roots, and conquer jagged rocks.
On the asphalt, they hum like an angry swarm of bees—to us, that is the ultimate soundtrack of a true analog 4×4. When the easy gravel road ends and the wilderness gets serious, these MTs are just getting started. Where others are forced to turn around, these 33s dig their claws into the dirt and pull your basecamp unstoppably forward.
It’s loud, it’s rough, and it will take you to places that simply don’t exist on a standard road map.

A strong 3.5-ton winch combined with a full recovery gear kit ensures you’re prepared for challenging trails and unexpected situations.
The vehicle features extensive underbody armor for protection against rocks and rough terrain, and comes with a durable bottle jack for safe and easy tire changes

Inside, the vehicle offers 5 full seatbelts for safe travel with family or friends.
A 40L Engel fridge/freezer is integrated into a convenient slide-out system in the trunk.
About the electrical system
This vehicle is equipped with a strong 200A dual lithium battery system, ensuring stable power for families and groups on the road.
You’ll find several USB charging points and 230V outlets (up to 500W), so you can run the fridge continuously and keep all devices powered.
The batteries recharge automatically during driving and can also be charged using a solar blanket (provided on request) or through an outside 230V hookup.

You don’t need any special off-road license or additional training — a standard driver’s license is fully sufficient.

✔ Valid Category B License
A regular European Category B driving license is all you need to operate our 4×4 campers safely and legally in Sweden.

Our vehicles are registered as normal passenger cars, so there are:
