The Discovery up close
Comfort for the long way
Leather seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, permanent four-wheel drive with low range and two differential lockers. The Discovery is the most comfortable of our three on long drives – and it still handles forest tracks and gravel roads with ease. It averages around 12 litres per 100 km, depending on route and conditions.
The iKamper SkyCamp 2.0 hardshell tent sleeps 4–5 people on 2 × 2 m. Sleeping bags are included – for hygiene reasons we’d love you to bring your own if you can. The awning gives you a dry spot outside in rain or wind.

4.5-ton winch, recovery kit, underbody armour, bottle jack, 32″ AT tyres on 18″ steel rims and a full-size spare.
Off-grid power
120 A lithium dual battery, USB and 230 V up to 500 W. Charges while driving, by solar blanket (on request) or shore power.
Kitchen
30 l Engel fridge/freezer in a slide-out drawer, 2-burner gas stove, pots and pans, plates, cups, cutlery, spices, Dutch oven, Snow Peak fire bowl and grill.
Camp
Table and chairs, lantern, Thermacell mosquito repeller (keeps midges and mosquitoes away from camp), portable toilet with privacy tent, portable shower, Gordigear awning, tent walls on request.

Full first aid kit, fire extinguisher, shovel, air compressor, tyre repair kit, knife, axe and Silky saw.

Nordic-certified winter tyres, diesel heater, heated blankets, warm winter sleeping bags (your own are welcome too), full winter safety equipment.

Trip ideas with the Discovery
The comfortable choice for long distances: our Norway loops to the fjords and Jotunheimen, the Värmland loop or a week of lakes in Dalarna. In winter it runs on Nordic winter tyres with a diesel heater for the tent. You rent it fully equipped – rooftop tent, kitchen, power and offline navigation included.
Which car for winter?
The Grenadier and the Discovery are ready for snow and ice. The Jeep is a pure summer car.
